Install

Install (Windows)

Download the .zip and unzip it.
Copy all files from the unzipped folder into your FreeCAD Macro folder:

FreeCAD	Typical Macro folder
1.0	`%APPDATA%\FreeCAD\Macro\`
1.1	`%APPDATA%\FreeCAD\v1-1\Macro\`

Restart FreeCAD (recommended).
Macro → Macros… → select ThreadAdapterGenerator → Execute.

Linux/Mac: FreeCAD → Edit → Preferences → General → Macro shows the equivalent path.

How To Use

Macro → ThreadAdapterGenerator.
Set sizes / options in the dialog.
Generate → export STL when ready.
Dry-fit and verify on your printer — always.

Do not use for pressurized gas/liquid, structural load, lifting, automotive/aerospace, medical, or life-safety applications.

Is this safe for compressed air or plumbing? No. It's simplified printable geometry for prototypes and fit checks only — not certified or pressure-rated hardware.

Which thread standards are supported? Nominal thread-style dimensions set in the dialog — this is not a certified thread-standard implementation, so always verify fit for your specific application.
