The Gizmo Grotto — El Paso, Texas

We Turn Ideas Into Things You Can Hold

Custom 3D printing, prototyping, and small-batch manufacturing — from one-off gifts to industrial-scale projects, designed and built locally from start to finish.

Who We Are

From One Machine to a Real Manufacturing Shop

The Gizmo Grotto started small — one printer, a lot of trial and error, and a genuine love for figuring out how things go together. We've since outgrown our first space, added printer after printer, and turned that hobby into a real shop that now manufactures for individuals, small businesses, and — as it turns out — some pretty large ones too.

Every piece that leaves our shop is designed, printed, finished, and shipped locally, by hand, right here in El Paso. When you order from us, you're not buying something mass-produced overseas. You're supporting local jobs, hands-on craftsmanship, and the maker mindset: people who build solutions instead of waiting for someone else to make them.

That mindset is also why we run an ongoing e-waste program, collecting old electronics to keep harmful materials out of local landfills and giving usable components a second life in new projects and future educational efforts. It's a small part of the shop, but it says a lot about how we think.

Beyond Our Own Shop

We're Part of a Bigger Maker Community

Our goal has always been more than just printing things — we want to help grow a real maker and technology community. That's why we started our Creator Spotlight, highlighting the people who design, invent, experiment, and freely share their work with the world.

Our first spotlight featured Soozaphone (mechanical engineer Gabe Rosiak), creator of the widely loved Dummy 13 and Lucky 13 articulated figures. It's exactly the kind of creativity, engineering, and knowledge-sharing we love being part of.
