Our Biggest Project Yet: 85 Custom Site Models for CEMEX

CEMEXe-wasteindustrial
Sometimes we look back at where we started and have to appreciate how far we've come.

Not too long ago, projects like large-scale site replicas were something we hoped we could design and build. Last week, we delivered our biggest project to date: 85 custom site models for Cemex.

From design and printing to assembly, packaging, and delivery, this project took over 1100 print hours and roughly two and a half weeks to complete. It was a huge milestone for our team and a reminder of what happens when you keep learning, improving, and taking on new challenges.

Before that same deadline, we also completed the first working prototype for the next Cemex project, featuring a motorized turning mill, LED lighting, and electronics all designed, wired, and assembled in-house.

We're especially excited that this new project will include reclaimed wire from our e-waste program to add realistic details to the models. It's a perfect example of how materials that might have ended up in a landfill can become part of something new.

Our e-waste initiative continues to grow. We collect old electronics to keep harmful materials out of local landfills, and many components can now have a second life in projects, educational programs, and our future nonprofit focused on supporting makers and learners. Bring e-waste by, or reach out and we can arrange pickup if needed.

Whether you have a single custom part or a large commercial project, come talk to us. We'd love to help bring your ideas to life.
