The Maker Movement Starts With All of Us

A thousand small manufacturers making a meaningful difference in their own communities can collectively accomplish something enormous. That's the future of manufacturing we believe in at The Gizmo Grotto.

We've seen what a small shop can accomplish. We've designed and manufactured hundreds of detailed site replicas for Cemex, developed motorized displays with electronics, made custom merchandise and displays for local businesses, and created replacement parts, commemorative pieces, and one of a kind solutions for customers.

These projects may seem unrelated, but they share something important: someone had a need, and we had the tools and willingness to help.

Now imagine thousands of shops doing the same in their own communities. Sharing knowledge, developing skills, supporting local businesses, repairing instead of replacing, and creating opportunities that didn't exist before.

You can be part of that. Bring us a problem, an invention, or an idea. If you're a maker, show us what you're building. If you own a business, let's explore what we could manufacture together. If you're learning, come ask questions. And if you have equipment, skills, or experience to share, let's collaborate.

We don't need to build everything ourselves. We need more people building things, helping each other, and contributing what they can.

That's the Maker Movement we want to help grow, right here in El Paso.

Our e-waste initiative is part of that mission, too. We collect electronics for responsible processing and reuse, keeping harmful materials out of landfills while supporting future educational programs. Contact us for pickup.
