E-Waste Recycling
Responsible drop-off for the electronics you no longer need.
We are committed to sustainability, with drop-off available right here at the shop for anyone in the El Paso area looking to responsibly recycle their electronics.
What we accept:
- Computing equipment -- desktops, laptops, tablets, servers, monitors, printers, scanners, copiers, external hard drives, networking gear, and peripherals like mice, keyboards, webcams, and microphones
- Telecommunications devices -- mobile phones, smartphones, pagers, answering machines, landline phones
- Entertainment & consumer electronics -- TVs, DVD/VCR players, CD players, stereos, game consoles, digital cameras, camcorders, portable media players, e-readers, drones
- Home appliances -- microwaves, electric kettles, blenders, coffee makers, toasters, vacuums, hair dryers, electric toothbrushes
- Office equipment -- projectors, electronic whiteboards, cash registers, point-of-sale systems, calculators
- Lighting -- fluorescent lamps, LED bulbs, HID lamps
- Tools -- electric drills, saws, grinding tools, electric lawn mowers
- Other components -- circuit boards, cables, wires, motors, switches, relays, connectors
- Medical equipment -- diagnostic devices, medical monitors, laboratory equipment (see decontamination note below)
- Miscellaneous -- electronic toys, electric scooters, hoverboards, fitness trackers, digital watches
Before you drop off:
- Remove personal data -- factory reset devices and remove any physical storage media
- Remove batteries where you can, especially anything damaged or swollen
- Sort your items by category ahead of time -- it speeds up drop-off
- Medical equipment must be properly decontaminated per health and safety standards before drop-off; certification may be requested
What we cannot accept: non-electronic waste, organic waste, hazardous materials (radioactive, highly flammable, or biohazardous items), car batteries, and NiCd batteries. Not sure if something qualifies? Just ask.
When you arrive, check in and our staff will help you unload, sort, and get a receipt. Everything we collect is recycled or disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner, in line with local and national regulations.
