Install

Install (Windows)

Download the .zip and unzip it.
Copy all files from the unzipped folder into your FreeCAD Macro folder:

FreeCAD	Typical Macro folder
1.0	`%APPDATA%\FreeCAD\Macro\`
1.1	`%APPDATA%\FreeCAD\v1-1\Macro\`

Restart FreeCAD (recommended).
Macro → Macros… → select NamePlateGenerator → Execute.

Linux/Mac: FreeCAD → Edit → Preferences → General → Macro shows the equivalent path.

How To Use

Run NamePlateGenerator.
Enter text, pick font/shape/mounts.
Generate → STL → print.
Verify mounts and text readability at your printed size.

Does it come with fonts? No — it uses fonts already available on your machine, not a bundled Microsoft font pack.
